Fernando García
Chief Executive Officer
Theater and audiovisual producer from Guadalajara. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Film from the Academy of Art University (San Francisco) and is pursuing a master’s degree at EICTV (Cuba). Founder and director of Estudio Teorema since 2016, where he promotes interdisciplinary projects focused on community, identity, and diversity. He has produced and co-produced works such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Nación, Fantasma, Nosotros estamos aquí, and Mirar desde las fauces, presented at LARVA, Museo del Chopo, and Nau Ivanow (Barcelona). Between 2014 and 2020, he served as industry coordinator for the FICG, developing programs with the Berlinale and curating Latin American cinema. His practice bridges the performing arts and audiovisual media through a collaborative and intersectional lens.
Gal S. Castellanos
Production Coordinator
An audiovisual and performing artist born in Guadalajara (1991). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Arts from the UDG. His work spans film, writing, and performance, exploring self-referential and poetic narratives with a social and physical focus. He directed the documentary *Mi pecho está lleno de centellas*, which won awards at FICMonterrey and the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival. His work has received support from PECDA, Proyecta, FOCINE, Filma Jalisco, and DocsMX. He has collaborated on more than twenty film productions as an assistant director, and as a producer on stage and performance projects such as Tümü and Aura.
Demetrio Sánchez
Technical Coordinator
A photographer and visual curator trained at the UDG. He specializes in the documentary recording of cultural and performing arts processes, as well as in visual narratives that engage with artistic and regional diversity. Since 2017, he has coordinated the technical department at Estudio Teorema. He has worked with the Guadalajara Museum of the Arts and Notimex, and has explored portraiture and still life photography as languages in dialogue with the performing arts. His practice focuses on documenting the ephemeral, offering a critical and sensitive perspective on collaborative processes at the intersection of image, space, and body.
Lalo García-y
Communication and Networking
Cultural manager and producer specializing in communities and marginalized groups. He has coordinated spaces such as Casa Sombra (2019) and Andorra GDL (2021–2022). He is part of Estudio Teorema and participates in the revival of Sala Roxy with an LGBT+ focus. Founder of GDL is Burning (Ballroom platform) and Hechizo GDL (drag art), projects that have collaborated with the Jalisco Ministry of Culture, Diversidad Sexual Jalisco, Impulse, Yaaj México, FICG, and FIL. His initiatives promote the exchange of knowledge, visibility, and celebration.
