COMBATIVE AND DIVISIVE

RESIDENCIES FOR DISSIDENT IBERO-AMERICAN ARTISTS

Each residency lasts three weeks and includes:

  • Access to workspaces (desktop and forum),

  • Curatorial and process support,

  • Financial support for transportation, lodging, and per diem,

  • A kickoff event, a talk, or a forum for dialogue with a partner community.

The call for submissions is open to creators from IBERESCENA member countries. For its 2026 edition, the program will select three proposals to be developed in person at Estudio Teorema in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The residency is open to artists or collectives (maximum two members) working in the field of performance and the performing arts, who identify as part of the LGBTIQ+ community, and who are developing works or projects currently in the research phase. Priority will be given to proposals that require specific working conditions, such as desk space, stage exploration in a forum setting, and dialogue with organizations, collectives, or communities within the LGBTIQ+ spectrum.
